Hey there, I'm Laureli, a small artist, and here you can find out more about what I offer for commissions if you're interested in my work.

How to Commission Me:

Contact me via email, twitter DM etc with information about what you would like to Commission me for, a couple of references and details are helpful. (Example: I would like to commission you for a halfbody in flats of my orc sorceress [insert link to character reference] reading a book.)
I will respond letting you know if I am interested in the request or not. If I am, at this point references and descriptions of things like the character, pose, hairstyle, or clothes etc are extremely helpful.
After we agree on the details of the piece I will send you an Invoice through paypal, if applicable I will also do up a sketch and get your approval before payment is required.
Once you have paid I will begin work on your piece. Depending on complexity as well as my workload and schedule the time before completion may vary. A few days to a few weeks are normal. (If you do not submit payment within two weeks of me accepting the request/sketch approval I will cancel the order.)

If you are uncertain about whether I will/can draw something please feel free to ask me about it. Here are some basic examples of things I will and won't do however.

Regarding Reference Sheets:

Reference sheets will always be done in flat colors.
A basic sheet includes both a front and back view of the character, color swatches, a simple style background and some information about the character such as name, race and height. Closeups of tattoos and simple accessories can also be included.
Adding a side view or other additional or alternate bodies will typically add a charge of $45 per body or more if complex.
Adding expressions has a starting charge of $10-$15 depending on detail. Additional expressions may cost $5-$15 depending if they are simple adjustments (i.e. all from the same front angle) or completely unique.
A SFW Nude version is available at no extra cost upon request. You can have additional versions such as alternate outfits or a NSFW nude version for an extra charge depending on complexity.

Art Commissions Terms of Service & Conditions

By purchasing my art services you automatically accept and agree to the following conditions.

Please carefully read this agreement in its entirety before submitting payment. I reserve the right to change or add to these terms at any time as I see fit.

PAYMENT
• All payments will be made via an Invoice I send you through paypal and must be paid in USD.
• Payment is due in full before I begin full work on your commission. In the case of all pieces except most busts a sketch may be made and approved before payment is required, I will discuss this with you, please send me an email address or other way that I can send you sketches and the final piece.
• If payment is not received within two weeks of your request being accepted and/or sketch approved I will cancel your commission.
• You may contact me to cancel your commission after payment for a refund, but doing so after I have already begun work on it will result in a refund of only up to 75% of the price.
• If I have completed the commission you can no longer cancel or receive a refund.ARTIST
• I retain all copyrights over my work, which include but are not limited to the right to distribute, reproduce or use the work as a sample in portfolios for sales or self-promotion, unless otherwise agreed upon.
• I may stream the process of working on your commission if I so desire, if this is something that you do not want, let me know when you make the request.
• I reserve the right to reject your commission request for any reason.
• I reserve the right to modify and resell new works created from any potentially rejected sketches or partially completed canceled pieces in the future.COMMISSIONER
• The commissioner may upload the work on sites and galleries as long as I am credited with a link back to this site or at least one of my galleries:

• The commissioner may use the work for personal uses including but not limited to icons, forum signatures, layouts, wallpapers, themes and personal sites. Emotes and Badges made for Twitch may also be used on Discord etc.
• You retain the rights to the Intellectual Property.
• You may not claim the work as your own, modify it, or use it for non-commercial or commercial projects unless agreed upon. You may not ever remove or obscure my signature.
• You may resell the work for the same price you purchased it for, but it may not be sold for reproduction such as prints, t-shirts, mugs and other merchandise to which I would be entitled to royalties.PROCEDURE
• After agreeing upon all details of the commission I will send you an Invoice for the requested work.
• For simple pieces such as busts I will begin work after payment is received and send you the work when it is completed. You may request minor adjustments if I forgot something you provided reference to (i.e. an earring etc), or colors that are incorrect.
• In the instance of more complicated pieces I will consult with you and get your approval on a sketch before full payment is required and I begin work.
• Provide me with references, more is generally better, but at least one. These references do not need to be of your actual character but could be of a hairstyle, facial expression, pose/angle etc.
• I usually save works as .png files, if you desire another file type please let me know. Most pieces will come with a simple white or gradient background, if you would like specific colors or something else please discuss it with me.
